MIT is the most prestigious university and ranked No.1 in the world.
It is very very difficult to get into MIT with an average profile.
Admission is not guaranteed even if the GRE score is 340/340.
You need to have at least 85-90% or 9+ CGPA in Bachelor's degree.
Apart from these, previous research works, work experience and Journal publications will be an asset to your profile.
Your SOP's and LOR's should be very strong.
