There may be a slight difference in syllabus. But, more importantly from which institute are you doing it matters the most. Remember, IIM's offer PGDM, Symbiosis offers MBA, JBIMS offers MMS.
But tier 2, tier 3 colleges also offer PGDM, MBA and MMS. So, in short, concentrate on the institute rather than on the program. Good luck!

Hello Vivek,
MIT is the most prestigious university and ranked No.1 in the world.
It is very very difficult to get into MIT with an average profile.
Admission is not guaranteed even if the GRE score is 340/340.
You need to have at least 85-90% or 9+ CGPA in Bachelor's degree.
Apart from these, previous research works, work experience and Journal publications will be an asset to your profile.
Your SOP's and LOR's should be very strong.
There are two intakes : January and September
For the Application deadlines, check the university website.
All the best.
