As such there is no standardize way to rank the institutes in India. But then few of the most reputed institutes in India offering these courses are Picasso, Global school of Art, Arena, MAAC, BIG Animation and many more.

Bio technology in itself is a great career option but as you have clearly mentioned about your intent of pursuing a career in IT, either you can go about this through the campus recruitment procedure but then it would be quite difficult to get through as knowledge about IT would be required.
I would suggest you to take up certain programming languages courses like C, C++, Java and many more. Also you can refer to the following link for the same:
