Piyush.Psychiatry and Psychology are two different professions. Psychitary is about treating people suffering from mental illness. Psychology is about undertanding how the mind works. If you take consumer psychology for example, it is a study of when, where, how and why people make decisions to buy the products they need. You must be a Psychiatry graduate to an apprentice with a practicing Psychiatrist. I think you are confused between the two.
