The requirement of certificates/degree or qualification of any sort entirely depends on the Profile and Industry that you wish to pursue.
The basic eligibility for aviation industry at large is at least a graduation in any field. In some cases one needs to have some qualification to be able to fulfill the job responsibilities and Increase chances of selection. However, in majority of the Airlines it is good enough to have a basic Graduation and basic requirement of Height, Weight etc. You can directly go for an Interview.

The cabin crew has one of the most promising careers in the aviation sector. The cabin crew are a combination of air hostess(Fem,ales) and air stewards(males). The ratio of selection of stewards against that of air hostess is generally 3:7. So in a crew of 10 you would expect 3 stewards and 7 air hostess.

The Cabin crew have a different working pattern than the flight crew and are required to work longer hours. Cabin Crew are in-flight first responders who are trained to handle:
1. Smoke and Fire Incidents.
2. Medical Emergencies including Cardio, Pulmonary, Resuscitation, etc.
Normal flying hours are somewhere between 70-100 hours weekly. However, this may differ depending on the resource available.

The placement opportunities are equally available for freshers as well as experienced candidates. And the increasing trends in placement of college students is consistent.
The reasons for which I chose Nirma rather than any other MBA college of Mumbai was the comparative better Return on Investment. The fee structure and the cost of living is not so expensive in Ahmedabad as compared to Mumbai, but the placements packages are almost similar.
