The requirement of certificates/degree or qualification of any sort entirely depends on the Profile and Industry that you wish to pursue.
The basic eligibility for aviation industry at large is at least a graduation in any field. In some cases one needs to have some qualification to be able to fulfill the job responsibilities and Increase chances of selection. However, in majority of the Airlines it is good enough to have a basic Graduation and basic requirement of Height, Weight etc. You can directly go for an Interview.
Being a flight steward is one of the good career option as it offers good career prospects and excellent growth opportunities not only in India but across the globe.
In order to be a flight steward you may consider pursuing some of the below mentioned course:
1. Diploma in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel Management.
2. Diploma in Hospitality, Travel and Customer Service.
The duration of these course may be from 12 Months to 18 Months.
In order to pursue above mentioned course you need to be 12th pass and above, and need to have a good communication skills.
Graduates in the age group of 19-25 years for training. Preference is given to Degree or Diploma holders in Hotel Management/Tourism.
International Airlines recruit cabin crew member in the age group of 18-35 years.
Good language, ability and proficiency in English, Hindi, a regional language and at least one foreign language are essential requirements for inflight crew members working for National or International carriers.
Physical requirements:
1. Height for Air Hostesses: Minimum of 157.5 cm and
2. Flight Pursers: 163 cm with proportionate Weight.
Normal eyesight without glasses or a Minimum uncorrected distant vision of 6/40 is acceptable.

An airline navigator operates a plane's engines and controls to navigate and fly the vessel. He or she also checks hydraulic and engine systems for pre-flight safety and monitors fuel consumption and aircraft systems in-flight. The cabin crew has one of the most promising careers in the aviation sector. The cabin crew are a combination of air hostess(Fem,ales) and air stewards(males). The ratio of selection of stewards against that of air hostess is generally 3:7. So in a crew of 10 you would expect 3 stewards and 7 air hostess.
India currently has 5,100 pilots, of which 600, or 11.7 per cent, are women, according to ministry of civil aviation data. There are a total 130,000 pilots in the world, of which 4,000, or about 3 per cent , are women, according to the International Society of Women Airline Pilots.

Hi Payal,
The Cabin crew have a different working pattern than the flight crew and are required to work longer hours. Cabin Crew are in-flight first responders who are trained to handle:
1. Smoke and Fire Incidents.
2. Medical Emergencies including Cardio, Pulmonary, Resuscitation, etc.
Normal flying hours are somewhere between 70-100 hours weekly. However, this may differ depending on the resource available.
You work shifts will include Weekends, Nights and Public holidays. The amount of time you will spend away from home will depend on the flight routes that you choose to work on.
You will be expected to be neat and smart, and your airline will provide you with a uniform. The work can be physically demanding, as you will spend a lot of time on your feet and work in small spaces like the Kitchen Galley.
You will need to be comfortable flying in all weather, as bad weather could make it uncomfortable in the aircraft, and passengers will be looking to you to reassure them.

About the fees:-
1st year.
For entire year you have to pay Rs- 334500 including all academic fees and other expenses. If you opt for hostel you have to pay a Additional sum of Rs 49800 which will include breakfast in it. You stay in hostel will be from June to April of next year.For 2nd year.
Fees of Rs- 326200. the total Fees paid by you will be = 334500+95000 +326200= RS 755700.
Entrance exam:-
Their is no such entrance exam set by Sri Balaji Society but you must have given CAT/XAT/CMAT/MH-CET/MAT entrance exam. Any valid score will be accepted for your GD & PI round. More important is given for the GD & PI round.
Placement:-
Average package of Rs 6,00,000 to Rs 7,00,000. Highest placement of last year was 18,00,000 and this year until now is highest package is 13,00,000 from company Vedanta.
