To write UPSC in a subject with no prior qualification in the same is no such eligibility constraint. You can always take up a subject based on your preference if not your education background.

You can try for courses in actuarial or can opt for certificate courses like NSE NCFM, BSE etc. another option could be PG Diploma programme in Banking & Finance through institutes like IIBF.

Not many institutes in India offers distance education in Geography, but then you can still opt for the Institute like IGNOU which offers courses through correspondence mode and is completely approved.

You are working experience more than 2 years so I suggest you to go for MCA, because it will really helps to built you career path in programming. In MBA you will able to learn the IT management which is not your whole field. If you want to do MCA in Distance mode then I suggest you to go with IGNOU which is recognized university.

if you want to have a pure technical bakground then go for MCA. But, an MBA(INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) will give you a blend of both technical as well as management skills.
