You are eligible for lateral entry admission in B.Tech aeronautical engineering at Manipal University. The lateral entry program enables candidates with a 3 years diploma in engineering or an equivalent degree to get admitted directly to 2nd Year (3rd semester). Admission is based on Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET). Admission test is of one hour duration. It consist of Diploma level-mathematics (50), physics (10), chemistry (10) and communication skills in English (20). BSc graduates with Mathematics will have a separate question paper consisting of 70 questions in mathematics and 20 questions in communication skills in English. The MU-OET 2017 will be held between 24.05.2017 to 29.05.2017. Candidates can select the test schedule of their choice in the online test booking system.

After +2, a student is eligible to take the Foundation Course. Examination can be taken twice a year, in June and December.
Candidates who pass the foundation examination are eligible to seek registration as students to the Company Secretaryship course.
The course completes after a preliminary, intermediate and final examination.
Final Examination can be taken after 18 months of enrolling in the course and having undergone satisfactory postal or oral tuition for the particular group of final examination. Enrollment is open throughout the year. For appearing in the June examination, enrollment is on up to -September and for appearing in December examination, enrollment is completed by March.
Practical experience ranging from two to three years or Management Training for 15 months and four months practical training in a company which is arranged by the Institute is also required. After qualifying in the Final examination and undergoing practical training, a candidate is eligible to be admitted as an Associate Member. Senior Associate members may be entitled to become Fellows.
Admission is open to anyone who has passed the graduate examination of a university in India or any other equivalent qualification or those who have taken the foundation examination.

Only a limited number of prominent colleges offer this branch of engineering including Punjab Engineering College-Chandigarh (www.pec.ac.in), Anna University-Chennai (www.annauniv.edu), Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University- Hyderabad (www.jntu.ac.in), Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology-Vasad- (Dist Anand) (affiliated to Gujarat University), Hindustan College of Engineering-Chennai, Institute of Aeronautical Engineering-Secunderabad, Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology (www.iist.ac.in). Before I mention the salaries, let me start by saying that there are two types of placements:
The Summer Placements: These are internships and salary may range from a few lakhs to even 10,000 per month and is for a period of two to three months. This internship may turn into a full time job based on your performance.
Final Placements: The type of job you get depends on your two years you spent at IIM, your grades, your extra-curriculars and internship. Your final placement salary may range from One Crore to 50,000 or so per month and it depends on the IIM you study in also.
Here are the median and highest salaries offered to students by companies last year (2015) at IIM-, IIM-B and IIM-C.
IIIM-A:
Highest salary: 1.38 crore and 70 lakhs as highest international salary
Median Salary: Average domestic salary would be about 18 lakhs.
IIM-B:
Highest salary: Highest domestic salary was 53 lakhs whereas, highest international salary was 73.38 lakhs.

The hospitality sector is mainly divided into four basic functions:
1. Food production: As the name suggests, it is about preparing food and designing dishes.

As Robotics is a specialization under mechanical engineering and Electronics Engineering, one can opt for Mechanical engineering or Electronics Engineering or allied branch in Bachelors and then opt for Robotics in Masters.
