Failing in 2 subjects is not a good thing and nothing can be done right now. First of all, reappear in next year exam and clear all your subjects with good marks and then try to choose your field thereafter.

Hi Supriya,
In order to notch up the top scores in UGC NET Exam for Education, you should first focus on qualifying the General Aptitude Paper (Paper-1) which is common for all the subjects. General Aptitude Section can benefit you with total 100 marks so don't take this section lightly. For a systematic approach to cover up this section -
1. You can list up all the Important Topics for Aptitude Section and start preparing by taking all the topics one by one.
2. It is better to create quick notes containing the short tricks and formulas to solve QA questions so that you can revise them faster.
3. Using shortcuts while solving the questio

Most of the professional mass communication courses can only be pursued after completing 12th standard. 10+2 passed (from any stream- Arts, Commerce or Science) is the minimum educational qualification required to pursue standard mass communication courses.
Some institutes are known to offer Diploma and certificate courses to 10th passed students though. The quality and validity of such Diploma courses are questionable. Ultimately, such courses are not very useful, when it comes to finding a job using them!

Your JEE rank is not decent. With this rank its hard to get any good college. What I would suggest you is to try for good private college if you are okay with the fees or else try next year with hardwork and if you trust yourself that you can crack it next time. Don't lose hope. Good luck.

Trust me when I say you'll get in very easily. Although non-exam merit seats are reportedly 20% of total seats, with the University accepting more than 200 students per branch (according to recent trends) that makes it a total of 40 seats for the non-exam category and of course, if there are 40 students ahead of you, and you're the 41st, you will still get in, simply because one more student means more money and it seems this college wants only that.
