Scholarships are mostly given on the merit-basis and are awarded by the universities. Outstanding academic performances, research work, relevant knowledge are desired. The required exam for a scholarship differ with universities, for the universities in UK, mostly an applicant must hold a relevant Bachelor's degree with interest in dental public health, community dentistry, health promotion, etc. Additionally, you must take the IELTS. In the US, the universities require four-year Bachelor's degree, GRE, and TOEFL scores. Commercial Pilot License is the required qualification to start a career as Pilot in passenger and cargo flights.
Eligibility: You need to complete class 12th with minimum 50% in PCM, is mandatory for admission. It will take one year to complete the course.
The course focused on both theory and practical. Theory consists of airline and aviation basics, aviation rules, navigation system, structure and troubleshooting of various air crafts, etc. There will be minimum 1000 hours practical fly training in various air crafts.
There is another pilot license called as Private Pilot License / PPL. Class 12th is the basic criteria for this course and PCM combination is not mandatory. But, private flights, helicopters, etc. can be operated with this license.
