2D animation is part of animation courses worldwide, but not usually in india. so you must take the course separately. that is not the issue, the issue is that most institutes don't even offer that course. The scope is good, since the 2D animators are preferred world over to lead animation teams. they also have story and visualization skills. Wish you the best for your career.
