Multimedia is the field related to computer controlled integration of texts, (still or moving images) graphics, drawings, audio and animations. The information/content in the multimedia can be represented through digitally (audio, video and animation) in contrast to traditional media.
Eligibility criteria:
Minimum education qualification for a degree and Diploma course in animation is class 12th or its equivalent from any recognised institution. Graduates from any stream are also eligible to join the post-graduation course.
Who can pursue the course?
Students who are interested in learning about various types of media entertainment and technology such as television, film studies, journalism, video production, interactive media and computer animation can pursue the program. The interdisciplinary program focuses both on emerging trends, technologies and standard methods of managing media.

2 Project labs provide career-oriented software training. Tools like MS-Project, STAAD Pro, MX Road, and others are required to work in this discipline.
3 There is an internship programme that can help you gain work experience and increase your chances of landing a job after graduation. However, you must have an excellent academic record to be considered for this placement option.
4 Industrial visits to nearby construction sites are scheduled from time to time. There is now construction going on there. Expect to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You must question yourself and become interested in what is going on around you.
