I would suggest you to seek help from your Institution to get internship as they would be the best source to tell you whether SEBI take interns or not and secondly there is also a possibility that the Institute may have a tie up with such Institutes to place students like you as interns in these companies. Also you can talk to to SEBI authorities to get the relevant information.

Yes you can opt for MA in Public administration from IGNOU. But one thing i would like to say that in order to appear for IAS you have to be a graduate from a recognized university and the age group is 21-30yrs. For your preparation i would suggest you to first join a good coaching center so that you have the relevant study material to start your preparation. For self study you can start with reading newspapers and books related to current affairs and Gk, if you want you can refer to Manorama Year book which is one go

It is always advisable to do a regular program rather than correspondence as regular program has an upper hand than correspondence in the job market. Apart from this regular program gives you practical exposure and clear understanding on the subject fundamentals. Also you get a lot of faculty support plus communication with your classmates, which help you in developing your communication and interpersonal skills. Regular Institutes also have a placement facility which is not available in correspondence programs.
