Hi Swami,
The tourism sector is the cluster of production units in different industries that provide goods and services typically demanded by visitors. Such industries are called tourism industries because visitor demand represents such a significant share of their supply of goods and services that, in the absence of visitors, their production of these goods and services would cease to exist in meaningful quantity.
Tourism industries include: Accommodation for visitors, Food and beverage serving activities, Passenger transportation, Travel agencies and other reservation activities, Cultural activities, Sports and recreational activities,

Hi Sneha,
Well they have in common:
- the same purpose: both values were crated to estimate the weld-ability of a carbon steel material
- they both measure the propensity of a material to create martensite during cooling ( ability to quench-)
- they are both based on the chemical content of several element of you material. these element are known to increase the 'quenchability' of you base material
However, they are based on slight different formula and the numerical values cannot be compared from the Cev to the Pcm.
For example, the pipes in API 5L X65 (base material grade) we are welding in my job actually have a Ceq of 0,34 ( considering

Hi sneha,
If you are preparing for IIT, I would suggest an easy optional subject such as physical education which would lessen your burden. If you can manage, CS is a better option because you are going to get a course related to that in your first year in IIT!
Hope this helps. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.

Hi Sneha,
You can consider the below mentioned tips:
-NCERT is really important. Some questions are asked directly from those 'useless seeming' paragraphs in physics and chemistry.
-Take Pre-Boards seriously. Though your performance in it is no reflection of your 'to be' performance, but do prepare for them and try to score above 80 in them.
-Previous years papers are of utmost importance. Trust me on this.I would suggest you Arihant's PYQ book for chapter-wise questions.
-Practice few papers before exams. They also play importance in your performance on the d-day. Don't overdo them, around 3 would be enough.
-Don't worry and relax. Try to

Hi Sneha,
While NCERT will be a great help while studying for any exam, only NCERT is not enough in most of the cases.
NCERT can be used to build basic concepts as it is surprisingly detailed in some places. But after that you should also study a little more advanced stuff. Specifically, for BITSAT, there's a previous years question papers book. They'll give you an idea about what to expect.
Now the books, you should arrange study packages of institutes such as fitjee, narayna, akash. In case you couldn't do the above step then look for pradeep books if you have them otherwise. Buy physical chemistry-r.c mukherjee, Organic chemistry-grb p

A Post graduation Diploma will definitely enhance and may further broaden your job prospects. Your learning in IT would also help you prosper in the animation and multimedia field as they both are somewhat related as animation & multimedia also requires use of software.
