HI, MBA is certainly the most preferable option for graduates t hese days. As you have completed your media studies, you should definitely go for International business. With recent boom in trade and exports, this field is the most pursued one among students due to its unique nature and has lot opportunity than other traditional fields like HR. There are very few college that offers courses like MBA in international business. Few colleges that offers International business that I know of are IIFT , and UPES Dehradoon. IF you want to go ahead then you need to sit for entrances like IIFT entrance exams and UPESMET for UPES. With IIFT's seat being limited in this domain, it is most preferrable that you go for UPES Dehradoon coz this college is one that is equally as good as IIFT. All the best.

There is nothing as such a better or bad branch. Mediocrity level in the school has nothing to do with graduation level. I personally have seen poor students faring better in graduation be it in MBBS or engineering. If you want to excel then go for engineering domain that is less explored like Petroleum Engineering . Reason being the oil industry is replete with opportunities and hence has a better career prospect. The competition is far more less in this domain and hence the chances to get excel is better and lot more easier. I would suggest you go for colleges like UPES Dehradoon , Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar, IIT Guwahati. These are good colleges when it comes to do petroleum. Placementt wise all the colleges are good, UPES had fared well in the past few placements. So take your pick.
