Yes, a PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) candidate is eligible to write the NEST exam without Biology. For candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 12th, there are Mathematics and Physics-based Integrated M.Sc. programs available at institutions like NISER and UM-DAE.
The NEST exam allows candidates to appear based on their chosen stream:
- PCM candidates can apply for M.Sc. in Physics, M.Sc. in Mathematics, and other related programs.
- The exam will have sections on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, but Biology will not be required for PCM students.

JEE Mains is only for engineering and architecture programs and not for B.Sc.
So, if you want to do B.Sc then you need not take JEE Mains exam.
