Most of the UK Universities do not require GRE scores for MPhil. However, TOEFL or IELTS is mandatory for Mphil or any UG or PG courses in the UK. Hope this helps. This apart, there are several quality Universities in the UK that offer MPhil in English Literature.

I got a call from the institute with a CAT score of 72%, so yea there are chances that you can get a call. The college looks at many other parameters for choosing a candidate over and above his or her score. So don' worry, you should get a call.
