Distance learning (especially MBA course) is beneficial only when you have good relevant work experience in the field similar to your field of specialization subject. In context to your question if you have worked in HR field or in Banking / Finance sector then doing MBA with specialization in HR or in Banking would be beneficial t you in terms of having improved skills in handling related problems in those fields. You would be able to tackle general management issues well. You will be able to manage your people, your team in a better fashion. Incase you are a fresh graduate than distance education might not make a difference and in that case it is better to opt for regular mode of education for MBA. Now Symbiosis has a good name and reputation and therefore MBA form it would enable you to get more calls from prospective employers, but then only if you are eligible & a good candidate for them otherwise.
