Hi Imran,
To pursue a career in Civil Services by joining IPS/ IAS , one requires to write and qualify the UPSC exams , which are conducted in two phases: Preliminary test (CSAT) and Main Written Test.
CSAT: It is an Objective type examination consisting of Two Papers that is common to all candidates from 2011 having special emphasis on testing their aptitude for civil services as well as on general knowledge.
Main Exam.: Those who qualify the CSAT exam are shortlisted for the Main exam. It is a descriptive (essay type) examination. The General Studies, Essay paper, English Paper are common to all candidates and with this a candidate has two optional subjects to choose from the given options and a language paper of his / her choice. After qualifying the test, shortlisted candidates are called for the interviews and then the final selection takes place.

As you have less then 50 % marks in your graduation it would be difficult to get into a decent B-School but you definitely can opt for a Postgraduate Diploma programmes through private Institutes like IIBF, NIIT IFBI, etc. For more information on Finance courses please check the links below:
