Hi Nisha, as a friend I would suggest you to opt for M.Tech after clearing GATE exam as it will open more doors of eminent universities like IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc.
Check online for the colleges offering M.Tech without GATE score.
There are universities like Anna university, Vellore University, Amity University, Amrita University, Indraprasth University, Dr. D.Y. Patil University, etc which conduct their own entrance exam for the M.Tech aspirants. You can write these exams and pursue Mtech.
As for the fee structure, it differs from one institute to another and keeps on changing every year. So, it would be tough to quote a specific number.
Regarding placements, generally institutes do not mention much details online. So, it would be advisable to contact the institute/university's placement cell for detailed and accurate information. You may even contact the current students for an unbiased placement status.
