Hi Mayank, the stream which you wish to know, i.e., Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering, I would say that it is one of the most challenging fields of engineering with a wide scope for growth.
The basic eligibility is +2 or equivalent, with PCM and must have a fair percentage of marks in the aggregate. One must also pass the qualifying exam IIT-JEE. As such there is no physical criteria mentioned.

Candidates will have to apply online. The Online Application will be commence from 6th February 2012. The Selected candidates will be called for interview and group discussion in the department to be held towards the end of April. Candidates called for the group discussion and interview should with them attested copies of all their transcripts (marks cards from SSLC or equivalent onwards, degree certificate of the qualifying examination, etc) and produce them before the interview committee, failing which, they will not be interviewed.
