The Training and Placement Unit of the Institute is responsible for providing world class job opportunities to the undergraduate and postgraduate students after graduation for suitable jobs in the industry and various private and public sector organizations.
No institute can guarantee you placements. It's just purely based on how you utilize your abilities and skills at the right time. I would suggest you to contact the training and placement department personally for accurate numbers.
Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.

It is very important to project your strengths and positive traits in any application essay or talk. Make a list of them and ask questions to yourself before you write it. Even better, talk to people from the variety spheres of your life to get their feedback. Always keep facts, figures and examples ready when you claim that you have a certain positive trait. Never undermine the effect that putting across your improvement points in personality can have when writing such an essay. Don't shy away from sharing a few not-so- positive traits too. But be quick enough to say how you want to change it and what you have already done to improve on it. Make sure positive and negative traits don't contradict each other.

Bio and food: Students can attain technical positions as Production Engineers, Quality Control Analyst in food and chemical industry.
Automobile: Students can work as project engineer, production engineer, designer and supervisor in various automobile manufacturing companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai and Ford as well as can join government sector by qualifying competitive exams other than agriculture, aerospace, electronics, chemical, genetics, etc.
