-To become an automotive engineer :
1) You need to pursue engineering degree / diploma first with a strong base in Science and Mathematics.

on the basis of b.tech. mech. apply for job. or side wise prepare for m.tech. Gate exm. if you will qualify the exam you can get admission in govt college.
if you are interested in job.then join part time m.tech. it will give you benefit.
do not join any short term course, join m.tech. it will give more benefit then others.
