The university offers B.Sc. (Design - Interior and Furniture) programme focuses on cultivating skills required in interior and furniture design through sound conceptual foundations and intensive studio work using emerging technologies and interdisciplinary exposure. The programme provides a choice of department electives and opportunities to connect with industry through visits and educational tours to broaden the horizon of design thinking and professional work options. The students are trained for professional practice and execute designs keeping in mind sustainable practices and ethical issues to enhance the comfort, safety, utility and aesthetics of the built environment. 

The eligbility criteria is -

Pass with 90% aggregate marks in 10+2  (with English) or equivalent.

Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2  (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or UCEED or Under Graduate NID DAT (Prelims) or Under Graduate NIFT or NIFT B.FTech.
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject. 

The programme fees per semester is 120000 INR, without any scholarship. It will be reduced after qualify test. Furthermore, the programme educational objectives are as follows -

• Establish on self as a successful self employed professional known for innovative and challenging design projects based on research
• Professionally grow to a middle management position in a bussiness organisation on the strength of creativity and initiative to develop novel ideas for improving built environment.
• Mature as a faculty of architecture/design to train and guide students in the profession and undertake research focused onhandling of new materials and design
