Placements are good enough. But, if you ask about the packages, then it is difficult to be specific as no college guarantees you regarding placement with package mentioned. It varies from year to year as per the market standards because companies run as per market standards. Yes, you'll get chance. But depends on tour stream. As for IT, you might get KALYANI government engineering college and Jalpaiguri government engineering college. In Jalpaiguri government engineering college for IT GMR goes upto 2000 and for ECE & CSE upto 600.
