Dear Sachin, there is no relation of X & XII marks for qualifying GATE. But in general those who perform well in the school & college examinations will hopefully do well. But this is not the thumb rule. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Admission to postgraduate programmes with MHRD and some other Government scholarships/assistantships in engineering colleges/institutes is open to those who qualify in GATE examination.

Dear Deepak, the eligibility criteria does not mention about gap in study and you are eligible. I am reproducing the eligibility criteria of ISB:-
The one year programme offered by ISB is a full time residential course specially designed for those with work experience. It is open to graduates from all disciplines with two years full time work experience after graduation.
A bachelor's degree with a valid GMAT score is required to apply to ISB. A TOEFL/IELTS score is required for non-Indian students who did not have ENGLISH as the primary language of instruction during their undergraduate studies.
