To start your career in film direction it is necessary for you to gain knowledge about the basic aspects of film making such as Direction, Cinematography,Camera angles, market demand as in what type of films or T.V. shows are in, etc. So i would suggest you join some course related to Film making and direction so that you gain the relevant knowledge. To start a career I would suggest you to join some good production house or an AD agency as a trainee to groom yourself or another good option for you can be to start shooting documentary films, do it as a free lancer or join any NGO and make a documentary for them and then you can apply to big production houses or if you have enough funds you can start your own production. But first i would suggest you to go for film making course.

There are good scope in the field of food and technology as well , but you need to decide in which field you actually want to work, and accordingly you can look for job in that particular field.

No worries, you can still think of going ahead provided you spend quality time everyday by reading journals, magazines, newspapers, etc. For the study material I would suggest you to either contact the nearby book stores. As far as preparing on GK is concerned, you can refer Competition Success Review for updates on current affairs. It is not important to take coaching just that you focus and spend maximum time on your preparation.
