Uttar Pradesh Technical University conduct entrance examination for the technology professional course aspirants by the name Uttar Pradesh Technical University State Entrance Examination, UPTU SEE.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates must pass plus two under the UP board or from the recognized board as per the UPTU notification. They must study Mathematics with Physics and Chemistry in the higher secondary level. The candidates must have at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination The SC/ST candidates will get the 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement. The minimum age of the applicant should be 17.

Date of UPTU Examination: Mid of April, 2012

Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance-learning programmes are eligible only if :-
(a) they acquired such qualifications as working professionals / while in employment,
(b) the programmes are recognized by the DEC-IGNOU,
(c) they have passed the qualifying examination at the time of applying, with minimum 60% marks in average (45% for SC/ST) calculated as per item
(5) above. They must enclose photocopies of (i) work experience certificate (ii) pass certificate and marksheets of qualifying examination with their application.
