* To be eligible for lateral B.Tech course, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.

Generally, transfer is possible in the first year and that too within the university from one college to another. Transfer from one university to another university is not possible.
Keeping your concern in mind I would suggest you to contact the officials of both the colleges for specific and updated knowledge regarding the transfer norms as transfer procedure and criteria differs from one college/university to another.
