Well i am not sure what equivalence are you looking for. in terms of years yes BArch and BTech are what come to mind. maybe BPharm too. however, one must only study in the field in which one is interested. Here it would be good to know what all someone can pursue as a designer. There are many design based careers for the creative/ artistic people. Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense.
