To be eligible to sit for IAS (Indian Administrative Services) Exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year, one needs to be:
An Indian National Citizen
A graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and
In the age limit of 21-30 years.
Talking about the Examination pattern there would be two papers in prelims- Reasoning Aptitude and English Comprehension followed by the main exam that would entirely be subjective. For details check www.upsc.gov.in

If you are interested in the same field of Information Technology then better join MCA or M.Sc IT.
If you are not interested in continuing within the same field and want to change over and if you are good at management then go for MBA.
But I will suggest you to continue in the same field and to go ahead with MCA or M.Sc Information Technology.
Because, you will have broad spectrum of opportunities after masters in the IT field.
You can work with the top MNC's and IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, Mahindra Satyam, Infotech, HCL, Syntel, CTS etc.
It would be prestigious for you to work with such top companies.
So think the best choice and go for it.

As a B.Sc IT graduate you can go for Post graduation courses like MBA, MCA, M.Sc IT etc. There are also advanced certification programs also which will add to your benefit. Before choosing any of the higher studies course you must analyze your career goal and aspirations by choosing a particular domain on the basis of your strengths and aptitude.
M.Sc IT is the most pursued higher studies options available after B.Sc Computer Science. With an MCA or M.Sc IT or even with M.Sc Computer Science you can easily enter in to any of the good IT companies. You can also work as a part of the IT support. If you have the flair for teaching can also enter in to this field by appearing in the NET exam. With a Post graduation degree onboard, you can even go for Ph.D programs in India or even abroad.
With a post graduation you can also apply in various prestigious jobs in the government sector also. I would suggest you to take up either of the above two as both are highly dynamic, rewarding and challenging profession. I would suggest you to take up the regular masters followed by a good placement and continue to work hard with strong determination. And whenever the right moment comes, you can definitely opt for E-MBA after all that would serve as a value add on your career graph both professionally and salary meter

Hi Bhumika, an individual pursuing MBA degree is the most preferred career option by today's generation due to the variety of scope and will add as a plus for the student who is trying to advance or get promoted at his/her current place of employment.

Dear Anup, Reserve Bank of India, Bank of India, National Institute of Securities Markets, Teach for India were the PSU & NGOs who hired during 2011.
The batch of 2011 comprised of students from diverse backgrounds like Medicine, Engineering, Science, Commerce and Humanities. The batch had a healthy mix of freshers and of students with work experience of up to 5 years.
Keeping in sync with the excellent summer placements, this season started off on a very positive note. This is evident from the Pre-Placement Offers received by 24% of the batch. The list of recruiters burgeoned both in terms of number and diversity, in continuation with the trend of the last few years. More than 100 companies registered for placements this year and extended multiple offers to 111 students who had enrolled for the process.
The average salary this year stood at INR 15.54 lakhs, which is 21% higher than last year's, while the highest domestic package offered is INR 26 lakhs by a leading Consulting firm.

Hi Sukshith, by pursuing a course in Bachelors in Computer Application the candidate is trained in the various areas like basics in programming, networking, various application packages etc. On completion of the course the candidates opt for either higher studies or jobs. It is important that these candidates have a sound knowledge so as to be successful in their career.
To be eligible, the candidate must have completed Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent with at least 50%. The candidate should have pursued the science subjects.
