It is not mandatory that you first complete your degree and then apply for company. You can pursue degree as well as apply for company. But the problem is most companies recruit and select candidates who have completed their degrees and are available for company full time.
It also depends on factors like if you are going to give exam soon then there is no harm in applying.

According to last year cut-offs you will get a call for PGDMHR, if you have applied for it. There are also chances of getting a call for the new specialization i.e. Banking and Insurance.
