Tuition is free at the national universities but for an international student getting admissions is very very difficult let alone free seat. If you are something brilliant with more than 90% in your academics you may have a chance. You must also learn German language.

* It is always advisable to opt for lateral B.Tech course after completing diploma in any engineering field to get direct entry into the second year. Degree course will add more career opportunities for you.
* To be eligible, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
* Below is the list of lateral entry colleges :

Other specialisation streams like Electronics Design and Electronics Circuit & Systems can be pursued in M.Tech. MBA or M.S degree can also be opted. B.Tech in CSE is an engineering degree and higher degree in comparison to BCA. B.Tech CSE is the most accepted qualification for software engineer in India. It is recommended that you can opt for B.Tech CSE.

Usually, students take the SAT once they have decided to apply for undergrad abroad. Candidates should plan the test in such a way that they have the SAT scores with them at the time of applying to the colleges. If you want to pursue Management and move in business field than go for MBA. Score > 90 percentile will be opens opportunity for you to get in to top B-Schools of India. If you want to pursue from any foreign university than go for GRE, get admission in MS from a good US university.
