-The minimum eligibility is two years work experience after the completion of bachelor degree as
per AICTE norms. Distance education is not accepted for MBA(PT).-The application for the part time course is available on the website. You will be able to download the application form and fill it up as per the instructions.
-An interview will be held in the month of June which is very crucial in the selection process. After joining, you will have to take up an exam by the Tamil Nadu Self Financing College Consortium. You do not have to write any other qualifying exam like MAT/CAT etc.
-Classes will be held only on Saturdays and Sundays and the course fee would be around Rs. 21,000 per semester.

1. There are a few points that needs to be in mind while selecting optional for IAS:-
*First and the foremost, you must be comfortable in grasping the concepts of the subject.
*Availability of study material is also an important factor in determining the optional subject.
*You should not choose a subject just because it's said to be scoring or your friends are choosing it.
Considering your education background, opt for Psychology along with a subject for which you possess interest. For forbidden combinations visit UPSC website.
So Once and for all, it's about your own comfort in understanding the subject and the process should be done carefully since it is the very deciding factor for your selection in this prestigious exam.
2. Preparing for IAS requires combination of smartness and hard work. Do the right things to gain an edge over your competition:
*Get the right books for Prelims
*Start preparing at least 10 months before
*Solve past year questions to test yourself on regular basis
*Cover the scoring sections early
*Cover the syllabus strategically. Don't go for a "prepare all" approach for IAS prelims
*Balance paper 1 and 2
