Guwahati University offers 100+ UG, PG Diploma Certificate and doctoral courses. Additionally, it also has 340+ affiliated colleges that offer UG and PG courses in the faculty members of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, and Engineering. It also has an Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL) to offer distance learning programmes to the students. Gauhati University admission process is completely online; for all PG courses, it is subject to candidates' performance in the Offline Entrance Test, conducted by the university. For a few courses, such as BTech and MBA, it also accepts national/state-level entrance exams for admission like JEE Main, GATE, and others. Candidates must study the GATE exam pattern, attempt GATE question papers, and hence prepare well in advance for admission.

For applicants to undergraduate and graduate programmes, admission to Bharati Vidyapeeth is determined by the results of the entrance exam administered by the University Common Entrance Test (CET). There are even further courses available for direct admission, though. Candidates must also fulfil the minimal requirements for admission to the course for which they are applying. Scores from a variety of national exams, including JEE Main, NEET PG, MHT CET, and others, are recognised. With its twelve faculties, the institution offers 281 courses. Bharati Vidyapeeth is ranked 91st among the top Universities by NIRF Ranking 2023 and Maharashtra Institute of Technology is ranked 101-150 by NIRF 2023 under the Engineering category. Bharati Vidyapeeth is accredited by NAAC with an A grade, whereas, MIT World Peace University-School of Engineering is accredited by NBA. The modes of MIT-WPU admission 2023 are online and offline. Admissions to various courses are based on merit and entrance exam scores. Bharati Vidyapeeth conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) for UG and PG course aspirants. The recheck window for DAT Mains results will be open soon from May 21 (4 pm) to May 22 (4 pm), 2024. 

Note that the results of DAT Mains will be announced on May 21, 2024. Candidates who have any objections against the DAT Mains results can submit request requests through the admission portal of NID - admissions.nid.edu. To submit their requests, the candidate will have to log-in to the portal using their candidate log-in credentials. The admission committed will go through the feedback given by candidates and may make adjustments to the rankings for affected candidates. Note that admission to the B. Des course at NID will be as per the modified merit lists.

Yes, Gauhati University is a government university which was established in 1948 and is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission) and AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). The university is ranked 88 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2023 under the University category. Since it is a government university, the fee for various courses is not high. Even if the students find the fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships provided by the university. To get admission to this government university, candidates must have valid scores in entrance tests. If applying through CAT, candidates must prepare according to the CAT syllabus and CAT exam pattern.
