Well as rightly mentioned by Yeseducation, liking a particular stream or subject will definitely be a good option to begin your search other than this, there are other ways too:
If you are confused about your interests, then you may go by look for the stream in which you are academically strong and carry out your future well.
You can also consider your career aim to make decisions; if you are looking for becoming a Doctor, then you need to opt for Bio with the other science subjects; but to go by this it is very important that you have a consistent academic record in the particular subjects or the ones related to it.

Now a days this branch has more & more demand,it is a ever green line.so,that's good u r interested in chemical engineering.After done the graduation u can do PG prog. course. The scope for chemical engineers is tend to grow in future due to industrial expansion and the related scarcity of resources needed. They may be demand as they work to create synthetic replacements for those natural materials and resources that are in short supply.
