No, the course is residential you have to stay in hostel irrespective of you being a localite or not.
There is not percentile for kiitee exam to crack, there is a ranking wise system your rank decides your gd/pi call to come or not.

You are not eligible for Flying and GD Technical branches because these needs 60% aggregate marks in PCM at 12th level along with B.E. /B.Tech. You can be eligible for GD Non technical posts only because this needs Graduation Degree in Any Stream/Commerce with 60% marks minimum/Post Graduation Degree in Any Stream with 50% marks minimum.
