To be eligibile to appear for NET a Candidate needs to have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC.
There are several subjects offered by NET, you can opt Management (which will include Marketing) as a subject (as you have to choose the subject relevant to your study field).

You need to appear for 2 papers in NET one is general paper called Part I and second is Subject paper called Part II.

There is no ranking for institutes that provide six sigma training. Because six sigma is a methodology derived from manufacturing industry for process improvements. Since it does not have syllabus or accredition, there is no particular institute that is considered better than another. There are scores of organisations, institutes & universities that provide six sigma training & certification. However, there is a recognised body in US - American Society of Quality(ASQ). As any standard, anyone passing the exam conducted by ASQ is recognised as capable in US. It does not mean that those who have certificates from any other organisation / university / institute are less better. It is just the branding of American recognition. Any institute that has course training & evaluation can issue six sigma certificate. What matters is the course content, your learning & whether you are able to implement six sigma projects in your organisation beneficially using your learning.
As regards placement, no one really offers you a job - but some may guide you to the right organisation based on your qualification, skills & expertise like any other profession,

Getting a PhD degree in India was like a cakewalk. A Mungekar committee report citing malpractices in the process of getting a PhD, UGC has made entrance exams mandatory for PhD and MPhil aspirants. The entrance will be followed by an interview where aspirants will discuss their research area. After admission to PhD, students will have to do course work as part of pre-research preparation for at least a semester, where universities will fix the minimum qualifying criteria for further stage of writing the dissertation.
The Mungekar Committee Report found that students with the poorest percentage can get enrolled and acquire a doctorate degree in 3-5 years due to not following the entrance exam for the doctorate aspirants. There were instances where research guides wrote theses for students and even stage-managed experts during viva-voce.The new norms will ensure that before submission of theses, students make a pre-MPhil/PhD presentation in the department for feedback. It will also be mandatory for them to publish one research paper in a refereed journal.
