One year of preparation is more than sufficient for appearing in CAT. So I don't think you would have any problem with regards to preparation if you have honestly prepared for CAT. However appearing for CAT in 2017 or 18 is your personal choice. If you want to work for a couple of years and then go for your MBA or you want to join MBA college just after your graduation. Whichever option suits you better, pick that one.

For practicing the Group Discussion/PI that is conducted by the IIMs following strategies can be followed:
Reading the newspaper: What tests your ability to form an opinion and thus it is better to boost your knowledge about the current events of the world and analyze its impact. You can use the SPELT (Social, Political, Economic, Legal, Technical) framework for this. My suggestion would be to use a national daily like Hindu or Economic Times and start reading at least 8-10 articles on a regular basis.
Following Blogs: You can read blogs that are written by professors of IIMs, SPJIMR or any other institute of India from where you are sur

Yes you may expect a call but not confirmed as you are on the border line. Generally the cut off for CMAT and MAT is very high in this college as compared to CAT and XAT scores. So the cut off for MAT will be around 95% as per the last year trends.
But your chances seems good to get a call by considering your past academic performances along with your MAT score. But it totally depends upon the total number of applications received.
All the best

Hello, Monika
well getting admission does not only depends on what you score in a national level test, certain other parameters like case analysis, personal interview also plays a key role at jaipuria. And your score is little bit on lower side but not to get disheartened because you'll still have your chances of converting if you secure good mark,And perform well in the. Further process. As of 2016, the placement seems a bit precarious, true, but understand that you shall be passing out in 2018. I recommend you do a comparison of NICMAR with your other viable options in terms of growth. Generally people here target the second company rather than the first placement. When you pass out of NICMAR, you get a tag of being at a premiere institute and the actual worth comes to play when you shift after working for 2 to 3 years at your first placed company. The jump you shall receive, generally trumps the placements and opportunities opened up by other similar institutes.
Again, do your research a bit before joining in. It shal

I am sorry to say that the cut-off for Christ University is around 70% in CAT. Your score in CAT is not meeting the cut off parameter. So, it's hard or not possible to get a call for admission.
