For general category student, I don't think you get interview call from any good MBA college. Also because of your low graduation percentage, you will find it difficult to get a call from good college. I would suggest that you prepare well and try again next year. Please keep in mind that you will need to score really good in CAT to get an interview call.

Hi Shashank,
To apply for MICA,you need to have apercentile in XAT,CAT or GMAT. Then you need to clear MICAT,post which after a GE/PI process is conducted. The percentile IN these exams does not play a vital role in the selection process. It depends more on your MICAT,and the interview process. So feel free to apply.
Hope this helps.

I'v no proper knowledge regarding the college in Hyderabad but i only know that the campus in Vizag has got a better reputation and to the best of my knowledge majority prefer to get into the campus that is in Vizag . I cannot state reasons why Vizag campus is preferred , but i can explain why in Vizag is Gitam only preferred to get an MBA degree. If you really are willing to work hard , Gitam is the best option only if you choose to join a college that is in Vizag . You are given exposure to various things like presentations , club activities , fests , apart from that group discussions in class . You even have extra courses if you are

Generally, IIMs do not go for 2nd lists for wat/pi calls. They already shortlist a large no. of people for the 1st stage itself. It is very rare that an IIM would release a second list and that too only the newer ones, if at all. Normally people don't leave once they are selected and IIMs keep enough buffer to fill out the sliding seats.
Would advise you to focus on other calls.
Best regards
