The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), comprises of multiple-choice questions that test the applicant's knowledge in several Engineering-related fields. The JEE is offered at two levels:
1. JEE Main and
2. JEE Advanced.
Like with any serious academic test, thorough preparation is key to earn a good score on the JEE.
Understand the structure of the Main exam. The JEE Main lasts three hours and consists of 90 multiple-choice questions. The exam consists of three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section contains 30 questions. All sections are weighed equally. For each question answered correctly, four points are awarded. For each incorrect answer, one point is deducted. No points are awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
Understand the structure of the Advanced Exam. The JEE Advanced is structured differently than the Main exam. The advanced exam covers the same three topics: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. However, unlike the main exam, the advanced exam is divided into two three-hour long papers, each divided into three sections (one for each topic). The papers are organized as follows: -
1. Paper One:
Each section contains 10 multiple choice questions with one correct answer, five multiple choice questions with one or more correct answers, and five questions that require the test taker to provide a single-digit answer.
2. Paper Two:
Each section contains eight multiple choice questions with one correct answer, eight questions that require responding to a reading passage, and several "matching list" type questions.
Know the topics covered by each test. Though both the JEE Main and JEE Advanced cover the same three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), the precise topics covered and the difficulty of the individual questions will vary between the two tests. To gain a sense for the topics you may be expected to know for each test, consult the official test syllabus for the Main and Advanced exams, both of which are available in free PDF form from official test resources online.
Below are just a few examples of the topics you may encounter on the test, these lists are by no means complete or definitive:
1. Physics:
Kinematics, laws of motion, gravity, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics, electronic devices.
2. Chemistry:
States of matter, atomic structure, redox reactions, chemical kinetics, environmental chemistry, periodic groups, basic organic chemistry.

MBA in EM and PR is more practical oriented and less theoretical as events cant be learnt while sitting in a class and this is the Asia's best and only institute which provides an MBA in events as well as PR.It opens up different venues for students who wish to pursue their career in any field ranging from corporate to entertainment industry.it covers all sorts of events.The college has tie ups with almost all the biggest companies in India and abroad.So there is a scope for international events exposure as well.One gets a lot of exposure in the field of event management.There is a very common stereotypical thinking about event management that it just deals with organising an event,but there is a lot more in it which is involved.So, MBA helps us learn everything from management principles,oraganisational behaviour till event production process, planning , artist management, operations etc. Rest of the MBA's are mostly theory oriented and less practical.And in today's world we now need to learn practical to implement the same in the career.

I'v no proper knowledge regarding the college in Hyderabad but i only know that the campus in Vizag has got a better reputation and to the best of my knowledge majority prefer to get into the campus that is in Vizag . I cannot state reasons why Vizag campus is preferred , but i can explain why in Vizag is Gitam only preferred to get an MBA degree. If you really are willing to work hard , Gitam is the best option only if you choose to join a college that is in Vizag . You are given exposure to various things like presentations , club activities , fests , apart from that group discussions in class . You even have extra courses if you are interested to join like risk management for which you are certified and that adds an advantage to your resume . You have credit based courses such as BEC. They offer placements till the end , but it all depends on us to crack the interview. Although whatever taught is not to the level of IIM standards it fairly provides good knowledge . But you have to work really hard as they would drain your energy out. !

These figures were published by the institute last year. There is no information about cutoffs specific to a non-Maharashtra domicile.
