It is not compulsory in all MBA institutes Rishikesh, as rightly guided by @Prof Garain, but then if you can get into a more reputed institute on the basis of CAT percentile then it would add value to your cv and would make job search comparatively easier.

Hi Sanjay, in the last season according to the placement records around 86% students were placed. The remaining students wanted to their own business so did not participate in the placement process. This year the placements are going far good. I have seen companies like CRISIL, Citibank, IBM etc. Have already done campus placements and by the end of this session I believe mostly all of students will definitely get placed this year.

Hi Nancy, The cutoff for the batch of 2014-16 for MAT applicants was 99.94 percentile and we are not expecting a sharp decline in the cutoffs this year so 98.68 might not suffice.
