It depends on the course and province you choose for your Bachelor's. Scholarships or financial aids are available in some cases as you join and later more can be offered if your CGPA is good. You should always check the university website for the admission requirements. It is clearly mentioned that if you are a state board student you must take the SAT subject test too or ACT with Writing. Check this:

And select the appropriate link. For you, it would be 'Indian Standard 12 (State and other Boards).

You should have minimum of 50 percentage in your graduation degree.
You need to prepare for CLAT exam through that you would get good law college.
Many universities have their own entrance exam as in admission process. For that, you can check Shiksha's website for the top law college and their admission process information.

As per my knowledge, there's only one college in Mangalore:-
SDM Law College
Instead of studying in Mangalore, why are you not trying for Bangalore? Moreover, give CLAT exam and other entrance exam.

Process for engineering in aeronautics or in any other branch is same. If you are desirous of getting admission in IIT or NIT, appear for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. For entry in colleges of your own states, you have to appear for CET. Some states have separately CET for private colleges. Some deemed universities have pan India entrance tests.

Yes. All NITs have what is called as home state quota. 50% seats are reserved for domiciles of the state.

Being domiciled in Punjab, you will be eligible for admission within 50% quota of state candidates. However, Jalandhar is one of the older NITs and students prefer this compared with many other NITs. This results in much steeper opening & closing ranks.
