Hi Srikanth, it's completely left to you.Going to new places is always a challenge that you can take up. However you also need to keep in !mind additional accommodation and travel costs. Meeting the family regularly can be a challenge.

Both CS and IT are sufficient degree to start career as Software Engineer. Core courses of CS & IT are similar. BTech UT concentrate of IT application courses. CS will give you strong theoretical background. Acceptance of CS graduates is higher in Indian IT industry therefore CS graduates have a bit advantage over IT graduates.

Only M.A. (Eco) is not good enough to get a attractive placement you should add professional degree to get good package although based on your MA (Eco.) you can get a job in teaching field as an Assistant Professor after passing the qualifying exam like NET.
