Sorry for being so late, somehow I missed your question.
Anyway, my take on MCV of my college is okay. I personally wanted to study journalism, the core journalism & mass communication, but when I heard about SXCKOL's MCV being the best mass communication & journalism course then I decided to take admission without wasting any time as I already found my name on the merit list. I appreciate your risk-taking attitude in regards to your career. Sometimes in life, everyone needs to do that to achieve something even better. s this risk didn't result in a better consequence, I would suggest you to either appear for entrance examinations conducted by various states (like OJEE for Odisha, WBUT for West Bengal, PGECET for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka etc.) and private universities like SRM University, KIIT (Bhubaneshwar), VIT University etc or you can try searching for a job.
I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.

NID organises an annual industry interface to provide a meeting ground where the prospective employer and students can meet and employer can identify suitable candidates for recruitment in their organisation.
Average salary depends on your work and ability. You must build a solid portfolio during the term of your study in NID to get the required package. In NID, the starting salary depends less on the institute's reputation and more on each student's ability.

First of all, its true that companies are coming through reputation and highly graded college but while placements they are not choosing the students as per the fame of college but choose on the bases which abilities are there within you. So, develop your thinking process only for yourself . Don't pressurise your mind for other things.
Good luck.
