Certification course are compulsory for UG students but not for PG students. If you are studying in main campus I think you can apply for it. But, I believe you will not get any time to take up any extra certification course during MBA program.

Totally, there's a total of around 750 intake every year out of which around 240 are in Kengeri and remaining in main campus. I'm not aware about SDMIMD and hence, cannot comment about that question.
