Hi Ashish,
To pursue Bachelor's degree in Germany applicants must complete 13 years of education, that is an additional year of formal education after 12th or diploma. Your son cannot apply directly after 12th. You may meet this requirement by
clearing the FA exam (Studienkolleg)
or
Enrolling into a Bachelor's degree and completing the first year
or
Clearing the IIT JEE Advance.

10+2 marks don't really matter but you have to have at least 60% of marks in English. Getting admission in IHM, Mumbai majorly depends on the rank you score in NCHMCT JEE exam.

You can do B.Tech in Biotechnology. It is in demand nowadays and will be in demand in future.
You can pursue B.Sc in biotechnology also.
And, if you opt engineering, then opt for B.Tech in computer science, Civil or mechanical.
B.Sc agriculture also has a good scope. But, I would suggest you to go with B.Tech in biotechnology.

B.Com (H) is an undergraduate degree designed to inculcate business acumen in students. The course is similar to B.Com (H). The difference lies in the fact that you can specialise in a certain subject in B.Com (H), but the B.Com (P) course gives you an overview of all those subjects taught in the Honours course.
