Hi,
To make a choice amongst the specializations in MBA first you need to ponder over your area of interest, the field you want to pursue & your career aspirations. Once that is decided then choosing your specialisation would be pretty easy. There are many specializations available in Management programs. Few of the popular once are operations, finance, marketing, HR, entrepreneurship. As you have an Engineering background you can also opt for IT or Systems specialization.

it is not absolutely necessary to have mba for stock market technical analyst but employer today generally look for it. post graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, accounts, operation research, economics may be good for it. look for jobs in financial institutions, share houses, investment organisation. after experience or if you think you have right & sufficient knowledge you can start your own investment/research organisation also by mastering the tools of stock market technical analysis. start in right direction timely.
