Syllabus of computer science graduation degree whether B.Tech CS/IT or BCA or B.Sc CS/IT is designed with start of basics of CS. Therefore, you will have no difficulty if you join any of these courses without any CS/IT background. You are advised to put extra effort in first year of degree to come equivalent to other students who have IT/CS background.

If you want to become a lecturer then you have to clear the CBSE UGC NET Exam.
UGC NET is to determine the eligibility of Indians for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor.
This Exam is conducted two times in a year - June & December.

To seek admission in IIMs you need to do the following:
1. Score 50% and more marks at your graduation examination
2. Appear for common admission test CAT & score more that 95 percentile
3. If you get a call from IIMs, then appear for PI (personal interview) & clear it
4. On successful completion of above steps you will get admission in IIMs.

For IIM Ahmadabad check your eligibility below.
