Instead of learning through rote, focus on understanding the concept before moving on to the next topic. Refer to both Class XI and XII books for Maths especially. Divide your syllabus in monthly and weekly segments and assign practical targets to achieve them. Work on your observation skills and drawing to prepare for the Aptitude and Drawing tests. You may join a coaching class for drawing practice. Utilize your Engineering Drawing notes for 2D/3D questions preparation. Clear your doubt at the earliest to avoid any confusion later. Try to add variation in your daily study schedule, like study Maths, Drawing and Aptitude related topics, to avoid monotony. Make revision notes/flash cards on concepts, formulae, definitions etc. For each topic. Solve enough sample papers and previous year's tests to develop pace and practice. Civil@HBTI and B.Arch@IITR both are a good choice. You cant just put one over another in any aspect. Both are related nearly to same field but the only diff. between them is that Civil being a core branch opens more doors for you after your graduation. It leaves you with more no. of choices as compared to B.Arch . Generally the aspirants are lured to take B.Arch@IITR just because of the IIT tag and end up in a dilemma by the end of their second year.
Although there is no doubt that IITR is far better than HBTI. After all it is an IIT, but that should not affect the branch of your choice. I am not denying that B.Arch is bad but it is good only when you are more interested in drawing and modelling job. Both are good.
I would advice that you must do a bit of research over internet about what B.Arch is all about, what are it's prerequisites and what all options it leaves you with after for years. Then if you feel comfortable then go with B.Arch@IITR. Otherwise Civil at HBTI is also a very good choice.

Yes you can if u want to make career in same, AMET is one such college. Frankly speaking, Such a programme is useful only if you want to join Naval Forces as Private Shipping Industry in India is still not very big and it has long way to go. The minimum qualification that one requires to join the graduate level course is a pass in class 12 ( or equivalent exam) and a min 55% in mathematics with a background in the science/ commerce discipline. Since you have a degree in Civil Engineering, I guess you're covered there. :)
You will be required to appear for entrance exams, just like you did for Engineering. These exams test your aptitude and drawing skills
There are a lot of exams that are conducted in India For entrance in architecture but i think these are the most important:
All India Architecture Entrance Examination (happens along with AIEEE): Most colleges like NITs(duh!) and SPA accept admission through this Exam.
NATA (National Aptitude Test In Architecture): Some colleges like CEPT accept admissions through this.
(colleges that take admissions through NATA usually have a some % of weight-age for 12th std. mks.)
(I'm not sure if you're eligible for IIT Roorkee/Kharagpur Since you need to clear JEE mains to appear for their JEE advanced for B.Arch entrance and you have only 3 attempts to do so.)
Apart from these, i suggest you give your State Entrance Exams for Architecture.

You can do B.Arch with any stream provided you have Mathematics as a subject at XII level. You will have to pass a test called NATA and then join B.Arch course. you can visit www.coa.gov.in
There is a problem created by AICTE & MHRD, govt of India. As per AICTE you must pass Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at XII in order to join B.Arch. However, Council of Architecture is the apex body to regulate the Architecture education in the country.
Students with excellent drawing abilities, clarity of thought, creativity, strong aesthetic sense and social awareness are likely to get through. The duration of the undergraduate architecture courses or B.Arch is 5 years. This course provides both theoretical and practical training and helps a candidate develop and sharpen his creative skills. Higher degrees like M.Arch and Ph.d can also be acquired thereafter.

If you are planing to go on core stream, campus placements for naval architectures might seem poor compared to other branches in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Do consider the following options.The list is not exhaustive.
Go for apping. This might seem audacious.Consider this option if you have high CG / good projects / recommendations and budget for higher studies.
Doing a PhD is also a choice although very few prefer it.
Join in some shipyard,almost all shipyards take in naval architectures but don't expect white collar jobs and high pays.Shipyards generally buy designs from other companies and they employ freshers from naval architect to work in ship building or repair sites,not in their design offices.You can get transferred to design offices in less than one year but the work you do there is modelling not designing.Cochin Shipyard and L&T shipyard to my knowledge have been taking naval architects from IITM and Cochin University Of Science and Technology.
There are lot of design companies situated at various locations.If you prefer India,don't expect huge payment but you will learn lot of stuff compared to what you learn't in your classrooms.
Working as a project associate in IIT's is a good option if you don't have any idea of what to do or If you are planning to try one more year for higher studies.
Then there are few ship maintenance companies who recruit naval architectures full time.You might not have any co-naval architect workers along with you and might not learn much unless you are a one-man army type learning and doing everything on your own.
If you have very sound knowledge and have a few friends with same mentality,a startup is a good option.You can start a design consultancy. Friends with an year or more of experience in design field will be good for roping in to start the company.
MBA can shift your career path. In my opinion, choose MBA if you are really not interested in continuing what you are studying now.I heard from various sources that people from Shipyard and other big industries in this field prefer people HR expertise.Managing people to make this meet the deadline need specific requirements and skills.
There are lot of other non-core options ahead of you if you are not interested in naval architecture. Consider them if your real passion is to do something else.

Online courses can prepare you to earn the registered dietitian (RD) credential from the American Dietetic Association. However, you'll also have to complete an in-person internship. To become a registered dietitian, a student must earn a bachelor's degree and complete an internship program approved by the American Dietetic Association's (ADA) Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). In regards to your question, whether there is any difference in Correspondence and Regular course, i would say it varies from one subject to the other also from one degree to the other. However in general a course through distance learning does not have as much value as the regular one so if you can do a regular course, it would hold a lot of importance and thus be a much better option.
The acceptability and recognition of a full time course is higher in industry and the long term career gains are good. Correspondence courses are ideally meant for those who are working and cannot leave their jobs to further their education. It is only to leverage ones experience and not so much as a stand alone degree. The employ-ability of a full time degree holder is the most and those with a distance education degree may face a drawback as far as employment options with MNCs are concerned. However, what is also relevant is your experience; skills and profile should match the profile needed for the job and organization. Thus it would be best for you to pursue a full time course.
