Hi Gunjan,
I think engineering experience is a necessary, but not sufficient skill for a CEO of a tech company.
A few thoughts as to why :
Simplicity : Because engineers have to grind out the code, they are ruthless about cutting features. They say No alot. Non technical people invariably want to add their favorite pet feature. This crap accrues until the interface is a mess and the code base unmanageable (I'm looking at you, MySpace-2006. ) When coders rule you get the elegant simplicity of, say, Google's simple box on a plain white page.
Reading tea-leaves : Technical people have an intimate sense of what's coming : "cheap disk storage i

Hi Parul,
After your B.Arch you can opt for Masters in Architecture or a specialized master degree such as Master in Landscape Architecture/City or Regional Planning and so on.
Before applying to a programme abroad please check the accreditation status of the programme so that your degree has value globally. The largest accrediting board for architectural programmes globally is NAAB ( The National Architectural Accrediting Board, USA ) . Without accreditation the degree will not be recognized. In Canada, Master of Architecture degrees may be accredited by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB). Similarly in UK, the RIBA

Hi Parul,
Perspective Drawing: One Point, Two Point and Three Point perspective drawing. Learn the technique and keep practicing. Once you develop the technique, I'd personally suggest exploring multiple scenarios in both interior and exterior spaces(as in put yourself there and sketch what you see). Keep sketching regularly, it will gradually improve.
Avoid using rulers as much as possible, stick to free hand sketching once you get a hang of it. Pay attention to natural detail: people, animals, trees, vehicles, furniture etc. according to the scenario, use these elements to add definition to your sketches.
Hope this information helps. Pl

Hi Esha,
I can't give you a very researched opinion on this because my knowledge on B. Arch degrees is pretty limited. However, if i were you, i would prefer NIT simply because you would have an edge because of the institute reputation and an academically better peer group.

Hi Ruby,
Immediately after completing B. Arch? I would say get a job for a while.
Architecture is not a theoretical field. You need practical knowledge. You need to visit sites and see how work happens, learn how to deal with the people working on site, understand what the client wants even when he cannot express it, and most importantly, learn how to say no to the client when their demands are not feasible. No school of architecture or book can teach you this.
Once you know these things, you will be better able to understand your masters program. Your tuition money will be better spent. Fresh out of B. Arch, you may know all your theorie
