I recommend that you pursue a Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology degree. As a alumni of Lovely Professional University, I can confidently state that LPU has exceeded the majority of its peers. Students are groomed to be more proficient individuals than just engineering students here (or any subject student for that matter). I'll share a few points that will assist you in making a decision:

NEET entrance exams conducted across the country requires its applicants to be Indian Nationals, and since most colleges accept only NEET scores for admissions in their MBBS programs, it might be necessary to obtain an Indian citizenship to study in top MBBS colleges in the country.

Dear Himanshu,
MIT is one of the most selective universities, to apply for a UG program take the SAT or the ACT. Excellent SAT or ACT performance is a must, however, they will look at your profile holistically, therefore, you must not only excel in your academics but also in your extracurricular activities. They don't want boring students. You must be an all-rounder, take part in sports, be innovative, be intelligent and what not. Go through their admission page. You may check out the Ivy League universities in USA which are known for its selectiveness and connotations of academic excellence. Non Ivy Leagues such as Stanford University

It would be an added factor, if you prefer engineering as engineering students and graduates can directly appear for the SSB interview instead of clearing UPSC CDS exams. Also, 60 students from engineering and 60 students from non-engineering background are selected. Mechanical and Civil will be a great advantage.
