Subjects to learn will be prescribed by your University. You must find a few text books either through purchase or from your library. Capsules like printed notes and guides are available. Capsules may or may not help you to write your examinations,. But it is essential that you read the prescribed text books one or more times with a view of passing the board examinations and with the view of enhancing your knowledge and laying a foundation stone for your higher studies.

hi Rebekah, IELTS and TOEFL are valid for 2 yrs so you don't have to give it again if you enter the country withing 2 years of appearing for this exam. You will have to reappear for this only if you are applying for another course abroad or applying for PR. But in some countries its waived if you have spent certain number of years in an English speaking country and have studied a course. SAT exam is to be written if you are planning to go to USA or Canada for a UG course and its valid for 5 yrs.

Hi Rebeka, to study for medicine in the UK you need to have a very high percentage and appear for either UKCAT or GAMSAT. You need to finish applying before 15 october of the preceding year. You will also be required to appear for IELTS. AS far as Ireland is concerned, there are only 6 medical schools and the course duration varies from 4-6 yrs. 4 yrs courses require a prior degree and 6 yrs can be begun after 12. There is no particular exam tobe written for admission to Indian students. You only need to have 80% in 12 with no subject(PCBM) score less than 75% from a CBSE or ICSE board.
